1st. Application field of anti-corrosion resin

Unsaturated polyester resin has excellent mechanical properties, electrical properties and corrosion resistance, and can be cured at room temperature, and the processing technology is simple, so it is widely used in industrial, agricultural, construction, national defense construction and other fields.

Glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester resin (commonly known as FRP) has been developed rapidly due to its characteristics of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, electrical insulation, good construction technology, and design and strength. Especially in the application of anti-corrosion industry, the development is faster.

Room temperature curing system:

Accelerator (6% cobalt): 0.2-0.5%

DMA: 0-0.2% (temperature below 20 °C, recommended to add; temperature below 10 °C, must be added)

Curing agent (MEKPO): 0.9-2.5%

1. When the gelation time and curing time are fast or when curing thin layer products, you can use acetylacetone (APP) instead of MEKPO.

2. Use cases with relatively high relative humidity or anti-corrosion occasions not suitable for MEKPO, such as media containing hypochlorite ions
