Epoxy resin

Jun 04, 2019

Epoxy resin is a polymer containing two or more epoxy groups in the molecule, and is usually formed by condensation polymerization of bisphenol A, epichlorohydrin, polyhydric alcohol and the like. The world's first plastic phenolic resin is an epoxy resin. Since the molecule contains an epoxy group, a curing agent is often added to cause ring-opening polymerization, which is crosslinked by a linear polymer to form a network polymer, and is used as a thermosetting resin. Epoxy resin has the characteristics of easy curing, heat resistance, impact resistance, fatigue resistance, electrical insulation, etc., so it plays a role in coatings, adhesives and insulating resins in construction, electrical appliances, aerospace and other fields.

The epoxy resin used for river effect is very transparent and resistant to yellowing. The strength is very good. The products made are very beautiful.
