Two measures to prevent foaming of epoxy resin floor

Jun 06, 2020

In order to effectively prevent foaming of epoxy resin floors, Ruifeng Floor Paint believes that it can start from controlling the "moisture" in the construction process of epoxy resin floors:

First: do a good job in the storage of epoxy floor materials, strictly control the water content of the pigments, fillers and solvents used; in the primer formula, try to prevent the use of soluble fillers; use solvents to balance their volatile balance to prevent excessive solvents Many residues; in high humidity environments, use low-soaked base materials.

Second: Start with every link of the floor construction and pay close attention to details. During construction, it is necessary to prevent high temperature, humidity and other adverse climatic conditions. The surface temperature of the construction should be maintained at a dew point of 3°C and the relative temperature is not higher than 85%; if the coating is exposed to rain or condensation, frost, etc., it should be dry before construction Only then can the next floor material be painted; before construction, the floor material should be diluted and mixed and allowed to stand for a period of time before painting, especially the two-component floor material should have a certain maturation period, and then prevent mixing. The uniformity and reverberation generate heat, causing bubbles.

Control the thickness of the coating and reduce its water permeability; control the degree of surface sampling survey, the roughness is too large, easy to cause leakage, voids, and bubbles; after the substrate is pretreated, the surface must be kept clean, and no electrolyte or dust can be left behind , Grease and other impurities that affect the adhesion of the floor material; when the finished product is used and stored, try to prevent high temperature and high humidity environment and reduce the chance of direct contact with water; when painting a porous substrate, you should first paint with good permeability Seal the primer and try to drive off residues such as air and solvents in the holes.
