What's the notes for curing agents and promoter ?

Jan 26, 2019

(1) The curing agent and accelerator must be used together, that is, No. 1 accelerator for No. 1 curing agent and No. 2 accelerator for No. 2 curing agent.

(2) The curing agent is a strong oxidant. It must be placed in a cool place where no light is visible. Do not get near fire. The accelerator should also be stored in a cool place where no light is visible. For safety reasons, the curing agent is usually used as a paste with a plasticizer, and the accelerator can be used as a diluent with styrene.

(3) The curing agent and accelerator should never be mixed directly to avoid explosion. It should also be placed separately when saving. Do not add the curing agent and the accelerator at the same time when mixing the glue. Mix the accelerator with the resin first, then add the curing agent to mix.

(4) The amount of curing agent and accelerator should be adjusted according to needs (such as product properties, operating temperature and length of use, etc.). No accelerator can be added to the heat curing formulation. It can be adjusted according to the gel time when curing at room temperature. It can be adjusted by changing the amount of accelerator when determining the amount of curing agent. Usually, the amount of curing agent is 2-4% of the weight of the resin, and the amount of accelerator is 1-2%.
