mold pressing resin instruction-resin mold additive
Features and Application of resin mold additive
Executive Standard of resin mold additive : JC/T1092-2008
Code | Type | Viscosity Pa.s | Gel Time (mins) | Features | Application |
9262 | PS type low shrinkage additive | 6.0-7.0 | Solid contain 31-36% | It is main advantage is that it can be colored, but low shrinkage is not good | The thermal expansion of thermoplastic resin was simply used to inhibit the curing shrinkage of the resin |
TIPS:
Low shrinkage additive LPA is a substance added to reduce the volume shrinkage surface of resin during curing.LPA is an important and key raw material in SMC/BMC production.Although there are many types of LPA, according to their molecular structure and properties, they can be roughly divided into two categories: plastic LPA, mainly including polyethylene, polyfluoroethylene, polystyrene, polymethyl benzoate methyl ester, polycaprolactone, polyvinyl acetate, and copolymers dominated by their monomers. The other type is elastomer LPA, which mainly includes styrene butadiene rubber, polyethylene -- butadiene -- polyethylene block copolymer, polyurethane, saturated polyester and block copolymer with sub-flexibility.
