In the field of China's rail equipment manufacturing industry, CRRC Changke is currently the only enterprise with practical experience in the operation of high-speed maglev vehicles. It has completed the production of two localized prototypes of high-speed maglevs with a speed of 500 kilometers per hour. The car has been put into commercial operation on the Shanghai demonstration line.
Compared with ordinary rail vehicles, the main feature of maglev vehicles is to use controlled electromagnetic force to suspend the vehicle on the track (with a gap of about 8mm), and use a linear motor to drive longitudinal movement. It has the advantages of environmental protection, high safety, strong climbing ability, small turning radius, low construction cost, etc. It is suitable for the transportation connection between urban areas, close cities and tourist attractions.
Captain China disclosed that during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the company will undertake research tasks such as the development of a 600 km/h high-speed maglev vehicle body structure, as well as the distribution of aerodynamic drag, noise generation and propagation laws.
According to the news released by the company on the 2nd, China's new generation of medium and low speed maglev trains can run up to 120 kilometers per hour. The vehicles are powered by the side electric shoes and the rated power supply voltage is DC1500V.
Changke said that a variety of energy-saving and environmentally friendly black technologies will appear in the new generation of medium and low speed maglev trains. Among them, the car body structure adopts lightweight aluminum alloy and composite material structure, which has good anti-vibration and sound insulation effects; by adopting measures such as spraying damping slurry and adding sound insulation pads, the vehicle noise is reduced to a comfortable level; doors, windows There will be a transparent "floor-to-ceiling window" design.
Changke said that low- and medium-speed maglev transportation has the advantages of economic benefits, environmental protection, safety, and strong adaptability. It provides extremely important support for China and the world to improve urban and intercity transportation and promote high-quality social and economic development. At the same time, medium and low speed maglev rail transit is also a hotspot for China's new generation of rail transit innovation.
It is reported that the first train is expected to be delivered to customers in June 2019, and will be applied to the 38-km Guangdong Qingyuan Maglev Line.
