Initially involved sample preparation; then, a coating was synthesized on mild steel to confirm curing and FTIR analysis. In order to study the effectiveness of the coating, EIS analysis was performed. The results of the coated and uncoated mild steels were compared, and it was concluded that the coating can prevent mild steel corrosion and extend the life of the acid tank.
